6 Ways to Rock Your Scarf

Cold winter days demand that fashion also be functional. The best way to keep the chill off is with a scarf. Whether you are choosing your scarf as a great accessory piece or purely to stay warm, trying a new knot can be a breathe of fresh air. Eton showcases 6 different ways to rock your scarf this winter. From a delicate suit with a more formal appeal to a thicker cashmere for ultimate warmth, switch it up this winter.

We have a beautiful selection of cashmere, wool, modal and silk scarves to match any look. Let the weight of your fabric help direct your knot options then try something new. Just like any accessory, a scarf is an expression of personal style. Are you monochromatic, a pattern guy, love bold colours or more traditional? Go for a scarf that matches your look then knot accordingly.

Kick up the fashion element of your cold weather essential by trying one of these options:

The Drape – Simple, just drape the scarf around the back of your neck and tuck the ends in under your coat.
The Four in Hand – Start with The Parisian, then give it a twist and feed the ends through the same loop again.
The Once Around – Just as it sounds, go once around and leave an end on either side of your shoulder.
The Overhand Knot – Drape the scarf around your neck and cross the ends. Then pull the top end through the loop from underneath.
The Parisian – Fold your scarf in half then drape it behind your neck with the ends on one side and the loop on the other. Feed the ends through the loop and tighten.
The Single Knot – Tie a simple knot by crossing the ends and pulling the bottom end through the loop from the top.
