Please join us in extending best wishes to Barron Lee who is leaving MacDermott’s after 17 years of service.
Barron joined Wayne and Jay at MacDermott’s back in 1999 after visiting Kelowna. Wayne and Barron had been long time acquaintances as Wayne had actually worked with Barron Lee senior (which is why sometimes Barron goes by JR). As Barron moved to Kelowna Wayne was happy to have him join his young business.
Barron has seen many of us come and many go, (as well as some bad fashion trends!) and it is now time for him to move on. He’s ready to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle of the Okanagan that he moved here for and we can’t blame him!
We wish him well and we’ll miss rubbing elbows deep in the trenches of retail with him day in and day out. He is a great asset to our store and will be dearly missed.
As Barron’s last day is Saturday February 25th, we invite you to stop in some time this week and say farewell to Barron, and thank him for all the years of dedication to us and our team.
